Hello! I'm a current third-year undergraduate student at the University of Virginia, majoring in Computer Science. I'm currently the president of Machine Learning @ UVA, an undergraduate student initiative interested in machine learning, AI, and how novel technologies can benefit society. I'm also very passionate about building safe AI systems for tomorrow, and lead the technical research arm of the Virginia AI Security Initiative.
I was previously a Research Fellow at the Virginia Initiative on Cosmic Origins (VICO), where I conducted machine learning research on exoplanet detection in 2025. I interned as a Quantitative Developer at Marshall Wace this Summer.
There are various areas in technical AI safety that particularly interest me. I am currently working on identifying eval-awareness in frontier LLMs under Shubhorup Biswas.
